W. R. Berkley Corp. has announced that Scott R. Barraclough is the new chief executive officer of its Berkley Public Entity and Curtis E. Fletcher has succeeded Barraclough as president of Admiral Insurance, another Berkley company.
Barraclough most recently served as president of Admiral Insurance. He joined the company in 1996 and has held various financial and operational positions throughout his 20-plus year career with Admiral Insurance.
Fletcher joined Admiral Insurance in 1998 and most recently served as executive vice president and chief underwriting officer. He has 30 years of experience in the property/casualty insurance industry and expertise in both excess and surplus lines and reinsurance.
Berkley Public Entity specializes in public entities and intergovernmental pools or trusts, including law enforcement, public officials and educators. Admiral Insurance provides excess and surplus lines coverage for commercial risks that generally consist of hard-to-place, specialized risks involving moderate to high degrees of hazard, exclusively through wholesale brokers.
