Insurance broker Marsh has appointed Kevin Richards to the newly-created role of global head of Cyber Risk Consulting.
Richards will be responsible for leading the strategic development and delivery of Marsh’s cyber risk consulting business worldwide, collaborating with its regional and local cyber risk experts as well as Marsh’s cyber insurance brokerage teams.
Richards will be based in Chicago and report to Michael Poulos, president of Marsh Risk Consulting and global head of Client Advisory Services.
Richards joins Marsh from Accenture where he most recently led its North America Security Practice and its Global Security Strategy & Risk Practice. He has been inducted into the Information System Security Association (ISSA) Hall of Fame for his contributions to the information security community and the security profession. He served as international president of ISSA from 2010 to 2012.
