Program manager NSM Insurance Group reports that James Gara has joined the company as program director of AllComp Solutions, NSM’s monoline workers’ compensation division.
Gara brings casualty underwriting experience in the middle and national account arena. As a national account underwriter, he has marketed and sold cash-flow and fixed cost programs to both private and public Fortune 1,000 companies. Since 2016, he has been a senior underwriter at PMA Insurance and prior to PMA served in similar roles at ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ and ACE Insurance.
NSM’s programs include social services and behavioral health; catastrophe- driven property; collector cars; workers’ compensation; staffing; sports and fitness; breweries and wineries; professional liability for architects and engineers and pet insurance.
