Pacific Specialty Insurance Co. has named David Biewer as chief financial officer and Jim Lee as chief information officer.
Biewer spent the past 14 years at Esurance, the last nine years as chief actuary and vice president of actuarial.
Lee was previously CIO with Endurance Specialty Insurance, and before that he spent several years as the global chief information officer with Marsh & McLennan Cos.
Based in Menlo Park, Calif. and in Anaheim, Pacific Specialty serves individuals and small business owners with specialty and general policies featuring homeowners insurance, personal lines and powersports insurance. Coverage is sold through local independent agents and brokers. Pacific Specialty operates as an admitted insurance company in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
