Insurance wholesaler Highland Risk Services has partnered with Ironshore to provide liability insurance for the Empirical Risk program, which is designed specifically for continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs).
CCRCs combine at least three levels of care – independent living, assisted living and nursing care in a single setting – and are considered to be more efficient than other types of senior living facilities within the long-term care industry.
Ironshore offers coverage for the specific liability issues within the healthcare community. Ironshore, through their IronHealth division, will provide general liability, professional liability and excess liability coverage for CCRCs insured through the Empirical Risk program.
Highland Risk Services is an insurance wholesale brokerage, specializing in the healthcare industry with a particular focus on the long-term care industry. Founded in 2007, Highland Risk Services operates on a national basis from offices in Glenview, Ill. and Mason, Mich.
