Specialty insurer Ironshore Inc. has appointed Peter Ignell vice president of Ironshore Insurance Services, based in St. Louis, Missouri.
Ignell will manage the wholesale property operation and develop strategic underwriting and market direction for Ironshore’s team of wholesale underwriters,
He has 25 years of underwriting, management and engineering experience, most recently as vice president of Chartis’ Global Marine and Energy property group in Chicago. Ignell also served in various roles of increased underwriting and management responsibility at Allianz, Hannover, Hannover Re and Zurich North America.
