OnPoint Underwriting, a managing general agency, now has the ability to write tribal surety with a large carrier with more than 15 years of experience serving tribal nations. The carrier, rated “A” with A.M. Best, “A+” with Fitch and “A” with Standard & Poor’s, reported $20-plus billion in revenues in 2009.
The Program for Sovereign Indian Nations’ new surety partnership will offer a range of bonds, including probate, judicial, license & permit, miscellaneous indemnity, lost securities, public official, tax and financial guarantees. There are no set per client or per project limitations on any of the bonds.
OnPoint’s Program for Sovereign Indian Nations provides an extensive line of insurance products for Native American tribes that includes all-risk property, general liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation, crime, automobile liability and physical damage, and excess liability.
