Bellevue, Wash.-based National Specialty Underwriters Inc. (NSU) a program administrator and specialty wholesale broker, and ACE Westchester, the U.S.-based wholesale-focused property and casualty operation of the ACE Group of Companies, announced that ACE Westchester will begin providing the primary casualty insurance coverages for hotels in the NSU Hospitality program beginning Jan. 1, 2010.
“We’ve worked successfully with ACE Westchester for several years on other products and now we are pleased to have them as a key insurer for our primary Hospitality program,” said Chris Randall, president of NSU. ACE will provide general liability, commercial auto, and garagekeepers legal liability coverage on a first dollar and deductible basis. Coverages will be offered to hotels and resorts throughout the United States through the company’s national network of retail agents and surplus lines brokers.
Insurance is provided by ACE American Insurance Co., Philadelphia, or, in some states, other insurers within the ACE Group of Companies. Surplus lines insurance is sold only through licensed surplus lines producers.
