The Chartis Group has formed a marketing alliance between its Global Marine and Energy Division and PowerGuard Specialty Insurance Services.
Chartis said the alliance will leverage Global Marine and Energy’s renewable energy underwriting, loss control and claims experience for property, cargo and casualty coverages with PowerGuard’s warranty product underwriting experience to serve the wind and solar segments.
The alliance can provide $400 million in property capacity as well as comprehensive multi-line insurance solutions for OEMs, project developers and power generation operators.
