Eight employees from Jacksonville, Fla.-based The Main Street America Group received the company’s highest honor when they were recently inducted into its Circle of Excellence.
The winners were selected for their individual efforts in going “above and beyond” while helping the super regional property/casualty insurance carrier achieve success in 2008. Last year, the company achieved a 94.9 combined ratio, one of its best ever, leading to a $43.6 million underwriting profit, the largest in Main Street America’s 85-year history.
