Bay Shore, N.Y.-based , renamed its specialized beauty industry programs as 鈥� SASSI (Salon & Spa Specialty Insurance) 鈥� and added Meadowbrook Insurance Group as an admitted market for SASSI. Meadowbrook is rated “A-” by A.M. Best.
Known for more than 70 years as the Hairdressers Agency, SASSI provides a wide range of insurance coverages for salon and spa professionals.
“We’re pleased to add Meadowbrook as a new market for our beauty programs and broaden the flexibility of the coverages we offer,” said Sean Brownyard, assistant vice president at Brownyard. “With this new market and our new name, we expect to expand our coverages and continue to provide innovative solutions for beauty industry professionals.”
Individualized SASSI liability programs include professional liability and premises liability coverage for beauty and nail salons, barber shops, spas and electrologists, and Professional Liability coverage for beauty schools.
Brownyard Group is a program administrator that has developed and provided specialized insurance programs to security guards, pest control operators, cosmetic manufacturers, alarm systems, private investigators and security consultants, and the beauty industryselected industries for more than 50 years.
