Insurance giant American International Group, Inc. has renamed its Domestic General Insurance operations the ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Property Casualty Group, a move the company says reflects the increasing power of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½’s corporate brand and an intention to provide a clearer view of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½’s U.S. and Canadian operations.

The new ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Property Casualty Group will include the ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Domestic Brokerage Group companies, which will now be known as ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Commercial Insurance Group, as well as the ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Domestic Personal Lines companies, United Guaranty Corp., and The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co.

ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Executive Vice President Kristian P. Moor has been named president and chief executive officer of the new ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Property Casualty Group. Moor joined ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ in 1981 and served in various senior positions in the management liability division of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½’s National Union
Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa. He was named president of National Union in 1995 and in 1997 he was elected an ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ senior vice president and named president and chief executive officer of the Domestic Brokerage Group. Moor is also a member of the ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½
Group Executive Committee.

Kevin H. Kelley, chairman and chief executive officer of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½’s Lexington Insurance Co., has been named executive vice president of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Property Casualty Group and president of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Domestic Personal Lines, reporting to Moor. Kelley will also continue
as chairman and CEO of Lexington Insurance Co. Kelley joined Lexington Insurance in 1975 as a senior underwriter. He has held a number of executive positions at Lexington, becoming president and CEO in 1987 and chairman in 1997. Kelley was elected ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ senior
vice president, Domestic General Insurance in 1991.

John Q. Doyle, president and CEO of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Executive Liability and
ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½’s American Home Assurance Co., has been appointed executive vice president of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Property Casualty Group, and president of the new ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Commercial Insurance Group, reporting to Moor. Doyle will be responsible for overseeing all of the ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ domestic commercial
insurance businesses. Doyle joined ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½’s National Union in 1986 where he held several positions of increasing responsibility. He also served as Domestic Brokerage Group executive vice president responsible for Field Operations. He became president of American Home in 2002. He was named president and CEO of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Executive Liability and elected ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ senior vice president, Domestic General Insurance in 2006.
