The Preferred Club Program (www.preferredclub.com) received the Award of Excellence for “Best Insurance Provider to the Club Industry” from The Boardroom, the official magazine of the Association of Private Club Directors (APCD). It is the fourth consecutive year the award went to the Preferred Club Program, a national insurance program for club and golf operations.
Awards are presented to companies that provide noteworthy services to the club industry. The winners are selected by an independent panel of industry experts representing diverse facets of course and club operations, all recognized for their overall excellence, achievements, innovation, vision for future growth and impact on club operations.
“The Preferred Club Program continually seeks solutions that improve and expand the quality of coverage for the golf and club industry,” said Philip Harvey, managing director of the Preferred Club Program and president of Venture Insurance Programs. “We’re honored to be recognized by the APCD and the clubs we insure.
Harvey accepted the award at the APCD’s Third Annual Marketing to the Golf Industry Workshop held last month at the Boca Country Club in Boca Raton, Fla.
