American International Group Inc. (ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½) announced that ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Vice President Charles Dangelo has been appointed ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½’s senior reinsurance officer, effective immediately. In this role, he will be responsible for all outward reinsurance relationships involving ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½
companies.
Dangelo will continue to be based in New York, where most recently he had served as president of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Global Risk Management Inc. (ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½GRM).
Dangelo joined ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ in 1995 to head the ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Domestic Brokerage Group Primary Casualty/Risk Management Unit. Prior to joining ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½, he had 25 years of insurance industry experience in underwriting and managing large, complex risks for major accounts. He was elected an ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ vice president in 2002.
Louis Iglesias succeeds Dangelo as ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½GRM president. Previously,
he was the president of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Environmental. Iglesias joined ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ in 1994 and has served in senior roles including president of the Construction Division of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Risk Management.
