Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) has expanded the ISO ClaimSearch® anti-fraud system to provide access to the broadest range of criminal and civil records searches available today.
The enhancement of ISO ClaimSearch service includes direct access through its Web site to federal, state and county criminal and civil records searches countrywide, the Sheriffs’ National Data System and other exclusive on-line sources. Additionally, users have extensive off-line access to single-county criminal and civil record searches.
ISO is providing the searches in partnership with Intellicorp, Ltd., of Solon, Ohio, a provider of instant employment screening and risk-assessment information. The company maintains the Sheriffs’ National Data System and offers instant access to many other original sources of crime information.
Subscribers can search for county criminal court records, arrest and booking records, inmate and conviction records, county civil court records, statewide criminal records in a large majority of the 50 states, as well as federal civil and criminal records.
Intellicorp criminal records searches are the latest in third-party data accessible through ISO ClaimSearch. Information from more than 250 public records sources is also available, including consumer records, business records, telephone listings, ZIP+4 listings and vehicle identification number (VIN) listings.
ISO has also recently expanded the ISO ClaimSearch system to include an Auto Physical Damage (APD) database, containing 129 million detailed claims records.
