Catastrophe insurance specialist International Catastrophe Insurance Managers, LLC (ICAT) has named Shannon King Regional Underwriting Manager for California and Cathy Schablitsky Regional Underwriting Manager for Florida.
King currently serves as ICAT’s Regional Underwriting Manager for Florida. As such she has been responsible for all underwriting results in the region. Before joining ICAT, King worked in national accounts underwriting for Zurich US, Wausau Insurance Companies and American International Group, all in Massachusetts.
Schablitsky previously served as ICAT’s Regional Underwriting Manager for the Gulf Coast and Eastern Seaboard, where she oversaw development of the new region for ICAT, launching ICAT’s stand-alone wind-hail coverage in Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina. Prior to joining ICAT, Schablitsky worked in underwriting for USF&G/St. Paul and in the personal lines department for Continental Insurance.
