Insure.com has launched its new Insurance Executive Salary Tool, an interactive guide to the paychecks of the leaders of the insurance industry. The tool allows insure.com readers to view executive compensation for a particular insurance company, or to select salary ranges to see the executives in that range.
In addition, the tool breaks down compensation into base salaries, bonuses and other compensation such as stock options. The site reports that Arthur F. Ryan, chairman, CEO and president of Prudential Insurance Co. of America received the highest compensation among insurance executives in 1999, making $7.189 million. That ranking is based on publicly available information, however, and does not account for all insurance executive salaries.
