HDI Global U.S. Appoints Long as US Casualty Lead

HDI Global Insurance Company (HGIC), the U.S. subsidiary of inter-national corporate and specialty insurer HDI Global SE (HDI), headquartered in Chicago, appointed Thomas Long as U.S. casualty lead.
With an insurance career spanning over 35 years, Thomas most recently served as assistant vice president of construction with Arch Insurance Group Inc. He previously served as lead underwriter at QBE North America, managing director, captives, at Berkley Risk Administrators and vice president at ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½. He will be based out of the company’s U.S. headquarters in Chicago.
Jenkins Joins Alliant Insurance Services as Senior Vice President
Alliant Insurance Services, headquartered in Irvine, California, hired Mike Jenkins as senior vice president within its Alliant Americas division.
Based in Overland Park, Kansas, Jenkins specializes in underwriting management, team leadership, large loss-sensitive property programs and captives. His background includes identifying coverage gaps, leading market negotiations and fostering long-term carrier relationships.
