J.M. Wilson has promoted Jennifer Councell to senior fleet underwriter in its Portage, Michigan, office.
She is responsible for evaluating transportation fleet submissions (11-plus units); quoting new and renewal transportation fleet business, binding and servicing new and existing policies, and building relationships with independent insurance agents and company underwriters.
Councell has been with J.M. Wilson since 2007, previously holding the position of fleet underwriter prior to her promotion. Before J.M. Wilson, she was a branch manager for 12 years at Manpower.
Founded in 1920, J.M. Wilson is a managing general agency and surplus lines broker providing independent insurance agents access to specialty markets.
