Auffenberg Insurance Services in Belleville, Illinois, has joined Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA), a family of over 120 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Illinois.
Owned by Mike Auffenberg and Nathan Schumacher, Auffenberg Insurance Services previously was known as Auffenberg Allstate. The full-service, independent agency specializes in personal lines, as well as fleet and employee workplace benefits.
“We joined the alliance to form a strategic partnership with a group focused on long-term growth and profitability,” co-owner Schumacher said in the company’s announcement. “Valley Insurance Agency Alliance will be an excellent resource that will open up the right markets for our customers, and we look forward to all we will achieve together.”
Founded in 2006, VIAA generates more than $195 million in written premium and is the regional founding member for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA), a more than $8 billion national alliance.
