J.M. Wilson, based in Portage, Mich., has promoted Kristy Galecka to senior property/casualty underwriter and garage specialist. Galecka is responsible for quoting new and renewal accounts for a wide variety of commercial property and casualty risks, as well as servicing accounts for independent insurance agents. In addition, Galecka will train J.M. Wilson associates and educate agents on garage coverages and risks.

Galecka was hired in 2012 as transportation and property/casualty technician, before being promoted as assistant underwriter in 2013 and underwriter in 2014. Prior to joining the J.M. Wilson team she held a packaging specialist position with Perrigo.

The company has also hired Josie Richards as marketing and communications coordinator. She will assist in planning and executing marketing efforts for eight J.M. Wilson offices. In addition, Richards will be updating and maintaining the J.M. Wilson blog, ‘The Intersection’, as well as the social media platforms for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google Plus.

Prior to J.M. Wilson, Richards worked for Allegan County United Way as a community impact officer.

J.M. Wilson also added Erin Moloney as property/casualty underwriter. Moloney is responsible for quoting new and renewal commercial property and casualty risks and serving independent insurance agents in Michigan.

Prior to J.M. Wilson, she worked at Maximum Independent Brokerage for 12 years as assistant broker and customer service manager. Moloney is also a licensed property/casualty producer in Illinois.

J.M. Wilson is a managing general agency and surplus lines broker with branch and affiliate offices in eight states.
