Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA), a network of nearly 100 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Southern Illinois, has added Wohltman-Aherin Insurance Agency as its newest alliance member.
Founded in 1974 by Myron and Norma Wohltman, Wohltman-Aherin Insurance Agency specializes in personal service and features a variety of insurance products including home, auto, business, farm and life. The company, which is owned by Diane Aherin, is located at 103 N. Main St. in Dieterich, Ill.
Founded in 2006, VIAA is located at 7745 Carondelet Ave. in Clayton, Mo. The alliance generates more than $125 million in written premium and is the regional founding member in Missouri and Southern Illinois for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA).
