Hub International Limited (Hub) has acquired Group Benefit Specialists (GBS), a Wichita, Kan.-based employee benefits brokerage. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The GBS team will continue to operate from their existing office in Wichita. Mark Isley, president of GBS, will join Hub International in his same capacity, and report to Trey Biggs, president and CEO of Hub operations in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
GBS will offer expanded benefit solutions leveraging resources from Hub including strategic benefits planning, population health management, employee engagement and communication, healthcare reform guidance and compliance, and exchange technology solutions. Additionally, GBS will leverage Hub’s extensive property and casualty solutions including executive liability, cyber liability, workers’ comp, director and officer liability, and more for its clients.
