Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Cos. recently appointed William Rentie as a senior field representative for the Midwest.
In 2013, the insurer entered Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas – joining Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan, which were already part of the company’s operating area. Entry into Wisconsin is also targeted for the near future.
Rentie is responsible for identifying new prospects for agency appointments while offering a wide range of services to existing members of the company’s distribution network, including providing information about available resources and new developments, monitoring production, and serving as a field liaison with underwriting, loss control, and claims staff.
Rentie has been part of the insurance industry in the Midwest for almost 35 years and has extensive commercial lines experience that includes a focus on small- and mid-sized business production.
