Hays Companies, a Minneapolis, Minn.-based insurance broker, recently added Ben C. Graves as associate director of research and compliance in the employee benefits division of Hays Benefits Group LLC.
Graves’ responsibilities include providing technical and compliance advice for cafeteria plans, COBRA administrative services and plan document management. He will conduct seminar presentations and Webcasts for Hays clients on topics ranging from COBRA, consumer driven health care, integration of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and workers’ compensation, among others.
Prior to joining Hays Companies, Graves was the director of compliance for A.E. Roberts Company, a nationally recognized training and consulting company for human resources, benefits and insurance professionals.
Through his past experience, Graves has consulted with management personnel and individual clients on employment related matters and has personally trained more than 4,000 human resources and benefits professionals.
