Chicago, Ill.-based Geo. F. Brown & Sons, Inc. recently announced it has hired Joe Lourido as the company’s new National Accounts Risk Placement specialist.
Lourido will report to Geo. F. Brown & Sons, Inc. President Mark J. Strong and his responsibilities will include solidifying strong market and retail community partnerships in support of the P&C open brokerage initiative.
“Joe’s large accounts expertise and extensive market and broker/agency network will give focus to the servicing and placement of complex larger premium-based risks. I am excited to have Joe on board and the potential he brings to the agency,” said Strong.
Lourido began his career with Aetna Life and Casualty in Hartford, Conn. According the the company statement, Lourida has 19 years of industry experience across various disciplines involving national accounts casualty underwriting, reinsurance and wholesale brokerage with nationally recognized companies as ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½, Royal Insurance Co and Zurich.
