Insurance Skills Center and the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa will present a two-day conference focusing on farm and agribusiness insurance risks, Oct. 9-10, 2006 in Des Moines, Iowa.
The Midwest Agribusiness Conference allows participants to receive continuing education credits from most states while earning the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation.
Three tracks will be offered during the conference: AFIS Part 1 which focuses on farm property, farm liability, and umbrellas & excess
AFIS; Part 2 with concentration on agribusiness risk management, Farm Auto, Workers Comp and farm labor issues, and crop insurance; and, AFIS Part 3 discusses agricultural pollution, crime, equipment breakdown, AAIS AgOp program, rtansportation, and livestock/equine Issues.
The Agribusiness Conference is designed for broker/agents, customer service representatives, and company representatives who want specialized training in farm and agribusiness coverages.
