The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America will host a seminar aimed at helping member company executives better understand the legal and regulatory issues related to producer compensation raised by the investigation by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer. The seminar is available exclusively to PCI members and is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1-4 p.m. at PCI headquarters in Des Plaines, Ill.
“The national focus on this topic is of great concern to our members, and this seminar will provide them with detailed information on producer compensation regulations, help them comply with inquiries from state regulators, and assist them in dealing with state attorneys general,” said Robert L. Zeman, senior vice president of industry and regulatory affairs for PCI.
The seminar features speakers from PCI, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, the law firm of Foley and Lardner LLC, and the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois. PCI members can attend the session in-person or participate by TeleWeb conference. Registration deadline is Dec. 8.
PCI members seeking general information about program content should contact Kathleen Jensen, PCI senior director and counsel, at (847) 553-3718 or kathleen.jensen@pciaa.net. Members can register for the seminar by contacting Tom O’Dowd at (847) 553-3822 or thomas.odowd@pciaa.net.
