The American Institute for CPCU and the Insurance Institute of America (AICPCU/IIA) have signed an agreement with the Michigan Association of Independent Agents (MAIA) to give seminars based on the Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) designation program for agents and brokers. The seminars, which will qualify for continuing education (CE) credit, will be offered for the first time in September.
So far, MAIA plans to offer AAI seminars at the Genoa Woods Conference Center in Brighton, Mich.
Agents and brokers who take the seminars for CE credit and pass the national exam immediately following each seminar earn credit toward the AAI designation. AICPCU/IIA has administered more than 5,500 seminar-based AAI exams since the inception of the program in 2003.
For more information about the AAI seminars that MAIA is offering, contact Karen Hicks at khicks@michagent.org or at (800) 589-5065.
