Warren, N.J.-based insurer The of Insurance Cos. has appointed Allison Meta manager of its Indianapolis branch office.
Meta, an assistant vice president of Chubb & Son, joined Chubb in 1994 as a senior underwriter for Chubb Custom Market and excess umbrella. She was a practice leader in the Birmingham branch from 1998 to 2000. She transferred to the Atlanta branch in 2000, where she was Southeast regional marketing manager, overseeing marketing for Chubb branches in Atlanta, Birmingham, Ala., Charlotte, N.C., and Nashville, Tenn.
Prior to joining Chubb, Meta spent six years with Aetna Life & Casualty in various commercial underwriting and marketing positions. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration-marketing from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala.
