Collectible auto and boat insurer Hagerty Insurance recently updated its agents-only Web site to allow for 24-hour, seven-day-a-week access to client policies and customer ID cards.
The changes are available in the site’s policy management section and are designed to save agents time and money. Agents producing for the Traverse City, Mich.-based carrier can now request and print customer ID cards at 2 a.m. on a Sunday, if they wish.
Both policies and ID cards will be available in the portable document format (PDF), which requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to read. PDF, the most common Web format for documents and forms, is available on Hagerty’s agent site via a link to the free download on every page that links to a PDF.
Sixty percent of Hagerty’s business is agent-driven.
Agents can also get immediate quotes, complete and submit customer applications, submit endorsements, and request changes as well as receive live help from a technical support team.
