Columbus Ohio-based Nationwide announced the election of Edwin P. McCausland Jr., CFA, as the company’s chief investment officer.
“McCausland joined Nationwide in 1997 and most recently served as senior vice president, fixed income securities and acting chief investment officer,” said the bulletin. “Prior to joining the company, he was the vice president, managing director at Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company. He also spent eight years at Phoenix Life Insurance and 11 years at Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance in various management capacities.”
