Gallagher Bassett Services Inc., a property and casualty third party administrator unit of Itasca, Ill.-based Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., announced the intent to acquire Mountainview Software, a claims management technology provider based in Layton, Utah.

MountainView Software’s primary product, ClaimZone(R), is a high-level claims managing and reporting tool enabling users are able to track all aspects of a workers compensation claim from the First Report of Injury all the way through the entire life of the claim. Users can also set reserves, enter bills, make payments to vendors and claimants, and send claims via EDI, track contacts, and litigation.
