Ohio has signed into law a measure to ensure efficiency for e-commerce business known as the Uniform Electronic Transaction Act. The legislation, patterned after the model created by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws, establishes rules and procedures for using electronic records and signatures in transactions.
