TigerRisk Partners LLC, the Stamford, Conn.-based re/insurance broker, announced it has appointed Christopher Conway to a newly created senior role strategically positioned across both TigerRisk’s Reinsurance and Retro teams in Bermuda.
Conway will report to Alex Bridges, partner and head of Retrocession.
Conway joins TigerRisk from Neon Underwriting Bermuda where he was senior vice president, helping build a startup reinsurance portfolio of property cat, per risk and retrocessional business.
Conway began his reinsurance industry career at AXIS Re as a senior modeling analyst before being promoted to assistant vice president, Underwriting. He later joined Third Point Re where he was underwriter and head of Risk Analytics. After Third Point Re, Conway held senior underwriting roles at AQR Re and Ascot Underwriting Bermuda.
Conway holds a business degree (honors) from the University of Lancaster.
