Liberty Mutual Re, part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Jens Voges as senior underwriter and product leader Marine & Energy within its London Market Risks (LMR) team.
The new role was created to support Liberty Mutual Re’s (LM Re) growth ambitions. He will be based at LM Re’s Cologne office and takes up the role with immediate effect.
Prior to joining LM Re, Voges worked for AXA ART Insurance as senior reinsurance specialist for nearly two years, where he organized the reinsurance cover for art insurance. Before that, he was at Liberty Specialty Markets as a reinsurance underwriter for over nine years, where he gained a wealth of expertise across multiple classes in the reinsurance market.
Voges will report to Bernd Burelbach, underwriting manager, Liberty Mutual Re, Cologne. He will be responsible for the underwriting and strategy of the LMR marine and energy reinsurance book.
