Aspen Insurance announced two key appointments to its Bermuda insurance team.
Saadia Savory joined Aspen insurance in December as vice president, Excess Casualty, Bermuda. She will lead the Bermuda Casualty team and reports to Zac Clammer, executive vice president, head of Insurance lines, Bermuda. Before joining Aspen, she was at Argo Re as a senior underwriter, Excess Casualty, and prior to this, she was with ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½. Savory was the recipient of the Bermuda Rising Star award in 2017.
Darren Cann joined Aspen’s Bermuda Insurance team this week as senior vice president, Financial & Professional Lines (FINPRO). Also reporting to Clammer, Cann will be responsible for running Aspen Insurance’s Bermuda FINPRO team. Cann has over a decade of experience in the Bermuda insurance market, most recently as senior vice president with Aon Bermuda. He has also worked for Allied World in Bermuda within its professional lines business.
