Chubb announced the appointment of Janet Edey as head of Management Liability for the UK and Ireland.
In this role, Edey will have responsibility for leading and overseeing the development and execution of Chubb’s management liability strategy. Management liability includes areas such as directors and officers liability, pension trustee liability, employment practices liability, crime, initial public offering liability and kidnap and ransom.
The appointment is effective immediately and Edey reports to Hilda Toh, Financial Lines manager, UK & Ireland, Chubb.
Edey was previously head of Professional Lines at Amtrust where she was responsible for the strategic direction of two syndicates. Prior to that, she was head of Specialty at Pen Underwriting where she developed and grew the Financial Lines and Specialty division within the MGA. Edey was also underwriting manager at HCC and spent 15 years at ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ in various senior management and leadership roles.
