XL Catlin’s insurance operations announced it has extended its partnership with S-RM, the London-based specialist risk and business intelligence consultancy, effective Jan. 1, 2017.
S-RM becomes XL Catlin’s provider of choice for delivering kidnap response services to XL Catlin’s kidnap & ransom policyholders, worldwide.
The company has put together a team, dedicated to XL Catlin, of 18 highly experienced professionals across the world, qualified to help prevent and respond to kidnap & ransom incidents as well as crises such as political evacuation, maritime piracy, active assailant attacks and workplace violence, XL Catlin said in a statement.
XL Catlin’s clients will have access to advisory services designed to help prevent and respond to kidnap, ransom or extortion events, the company said, noting that S-RM’s services include access to its Global Security Insight platform which provides information on political and security risks.
“S-RM has been an integral part of XL Catlin’s crisis management insurance solutions since 2013,” said Charlie Matheson, global head of Kidnap & Ransom at XL Catlin.
