General insurer RSA said that Jon Hancock, managing director of UK commercial lines and global broker relationship director, is leaving RSA to take up the role of director of Performance Management at Lloyd’s of London.
Hancock has been at RSA for 25 years and has filled a number of senior positions, most recently leading the UK commercial business for five years during which he has re-positioned the business.
“We are grateful to Jon for his support, dedication and service, but knowing Jon’s passion for the wider insurance industry, his new role at Lloyd’s provides him with an interesting new chapter in his career,” said Steve Lewis, UK and Western Europe chief executive said:.
RSA said it has begun a search for a successor for Hancock, who will continue to lead the UK commercial business until the end of October.
