Allied World Global Markets has appointed Toby Geyman, assistant vice president, Onshore Construction, to further develop the product line. Geyman will be responsible for underwriting major U.K. and international onshore construction projects, operating from both the company’s Lloyd’s and European insurance platform with a focus on:
- Erection all risks (EAR)
- Contractors all risks (CAR)
- Third party liability in conjunction with EAR/CAR cover
- Advance loss of profit in conjunction with EAR/CAR cover
Alf Müller, senior vice president, General Onshore Construction, Allied World Global Markets commented, “Onshore construction is seeing an upturn as economic confidence grows and major construction projects are being commissioned again. We are pleased to welcome Toby to the team and believe that the combination of his technical knowledge and underwriting skill will add even greater strength to our offering.”
Prior to joining Allied World, Geyman was a construction and engineering underwriter at Tokio Marine Kiln Syndicate 1880 and engineering underwriter at Tokio Marine Global Ltd.
