Julia Graham, Director of Risk Management and Insurance for the global law firm DLA Piper, acceded to the position of president of the Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA) at the close of its bi-annual conference on Wednesday, October 2 in the Dutch City of Maastricht.
In addition to her services as a longtime member of FERMA, Graham is also a member of AIRMIC, the UK’s risk management organization. Graham led two workshops at the FERRMA Conference: One on the risk management challenges presented by the rise of “social media,” and the cyber risks inherent in the use of intangible data, which she classified as an “enterprise-wide risk.”
Graham will serve for the next two years, until the close of FERMA’s next bi-annual conference in Venice, Italy in 2015.
