American International Group has appointed Jim Dwane as the new president and CEO for its property/casualty business in Latin America and the Caribbean, effective immediately.
He will be responsible for ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½’s insurance operations in the 15 countries in which its P/C division operates in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Dwane will be based in ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½’s regional offices in Miami and will report directly to Robert Schimek, president and CEO of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Property Casualty’s Americas Region.
Dwane has worked at ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ for almost two decades. He most recently served as regional president of ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Property Casualty’s Southeast Region of the United States, which includes the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
