TransRe, the brand name for Transatlantic Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries, announced that Robert Saville has been appointed Sr. VP – Head of Underwriting at the new Singapore office of Transatlantic Reinsurance Company.
He has over 22 years of reinsurance experience, and has held a number of senior underwriting positions in Asia and London, with the last 16 years in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Paul Bonny, TransRe’s President of International Operations, said: “We are pleased that Rob is joining our expanding operations in the Asia Pacific region. Opening an office in Singapore will place us firmly in the SE Asia Reinsurance arena as well as provide a further hub to build out our Asia Pacific platform.” In response, Mr. Saville said, “I am delighted to be joining TransRe at this exciting time of expansion in the Asia Pacific region.”
