Marsh has appointed Candice Sammeroff to lead the firm’s business development in the commercial property and real estate sector in the UK.
She has 10 years’ experience in the legal sector, and joins Marsh from MacRoberts Solicitors [law firm] in Glasgow. “In her three years with one of Scotland’s leading law firms, she held the specially-created role of Senior Associate, acting as both legal adviser and business development generator for MacRoberts’s real estate team,” said Marsh.
Nigel Salisbury, UK Real Estate Practice Leader, noted: “Recent economic challenges have spurred a more intense focus on risk management in the commercial property and real estate sector. The benefits of prudent risk management extend far beyond saving a few pounds on insurance premiums and can enable firms to create a powerful commercial advantage.
“With her legal background, extensive industry contacts and depth of specialist experience, Candice will play a key role in developing new business opportunities for Marsh in the commercial property and real estate sector in the UK.”
