Marsh’s London office announced the appointment of Simon Markey as Chief Executive of its UK Affinity business. He is based in London and will report directly to Martin South, CEO of Marsh UK.
Markey was most recently Managing Director of the Lifestyle Services Group. Prior to that he held several management positions in the Retail Bank of the Lloyds Group.
South indicated that Markey’s qualifications would help advance Marsh’s plans to “boost our presence” in the Affinity market.
Markey explained that over several years he has “tracked Marsh’s presence in the affinity market and during that time have developed considerable respect for the company and its people. I am therefore delighted now to be part of the business and welcome the opportunity to lead it to a new level of profitable growth and development.”
