Marsh UK announced that it has promoted Colin Grint to the role of Head of UK Operations. He will be based in Marsh’s Norwich office and will report to Patrick Mina, Head of Operations for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
“The role has been created to deliver a seamless end-to-end operations service to clients and implementation of global operations initiatives within the UK,” said the announcement. Grint will assist UK Client/Broker Support and Documentation, Claims and Fiduciary leaders in driving best practice improvements and identify relevant operational objectives and metrics to ensure consistency across the UK.
Grint joined Marsh in 1991, spending his first eight years within the Global Property and Casualty business. In 1999 he moved to FINPRO, Marsh’s Financial and Professional lines business, where he majored on building middle market placement operations for international clients
Commenting on his new assignment, Grint stated: “As the leading broker and risk advisor, Marsh has an enormously diverse offering in the UK. I will be focusing on our processes and functional disciplines and I look forward to contributing to the creation of a world class operating platform.”
