Bermuda-based Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd. announced that Raymond Barrette has resigned as a director of the Company with immediate effect, following his recent election as Chairman and CEO of White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. (See IJ web site Jan. 23).

Montpelier Re’s Chairman and CEO Anthony Taylor commented: “We are grateful to Ray for his wise counsel and support since the formation of the Company. We wish him every success in his new role.”
