Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services announced from its office in Tokyo that it has withdrawn “its ‘A+’ financial strength rating on Nissay Dowa General Insurance Co. Ltd. (U.S. branch), and ‘A-1’ issue credit rating on Nissay Dowa General Insurance Co. Ltd.’s (A+/Stable/A-1) Â¥20 billion domestic CP program.”
S&P said it had taken the ratings action “upon the request of the company.”
