American International Group, Inc. is donating $1 million to support relief efforts in the areas affected by the May 27 earthquake in Indonesia.
President and CEO Martin J. Sullivan explained: “The earthquake in Indonesia has left hundreds of thousands homeless with no access to the most basic necessities. The funds will be directed to organizations in Indonesia that can most efficiently and effectively provide much needed relief in the quake-stricken area. ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ offers its deepest sympathies to all those who have been affected by this tragedy.”
The bulletin also noted that the “ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Companies have a long-standing presence in the region. In Indonesia, ÌìÃÀÍøÕ¾´«Ã½´«Ã½ Companies have offices in Jakarta and Tangerang that provide general and life insurance.”
